Comparing the four types of PDF downloads
- HQ - Single Page (PDF)
- Is a High-Quality Version recommended for printing purposes (i.e., best for printing Booklets). Reveals one page at a time.
- LQ - Single Page (PDF)
- Is a Low-Quality compressed version usually meant for e-mail sharing, mobile device viewing or low-quality printing of Booklets. Reveals one page at a time. (Recommended format for mobile devices)
- HQ - 2 Page Spread (PDF)
- Is a High-Quality Version used for a more enjoyable large screen viewing experience. Can also be used for printing but will not print as a booklet. Reveals two pages at a time to resemble reading from a book.
- LQ - 2 Page Spread (PDF)
- Is a Low-Quality compressed version recommended for large screens and good for e-mail sharing. Can be used with mobile devices if they have large screens. Option for low-quality printing, but will not print in a booklet format. Reveals two pages at a time to resemble reading from a book. (Not recommended for small screens)

PRINT GRAYSCALE VERSION
Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Pro Extended, and Acrobat 3D (version 8): You can print a color PDF in shades of gray (also known as grayscale or composite gray).
Reader and Acrobat Standard: Reader and Acrobat standard do not have a black and white print option. However, many color printers provide this option in the Properties dialog box (available through the Print dialog box).
